Approach
A wedding day is the whole range in one go, which is exactly why we like shooting them. Our work sits between art and photojournalism: we will put you where the light is good, and then we will get out of the way and let the day happen.
That means both halves of the album. The portraits you will want framed, and the candids you did not know were being taken: the look between the two of you, the people who came a long way to be there, the part of the evening nobody planned.
We are based in Chico and shoot all over Northern California, from the Bay Area to the wine country to Lake Tahoe, and we travel for destination weddings. The Knot named us to its Hall of Fame, and WeddingWire has given us its Couple's Choice award.
Alongside weddings we photograph engagements, glamour portraits and family sessions, children and pets included.
